Hi Brian, you may remember me from some earlier comments posted? Things are progressing well with your project I see?

My own project TDR has been gathering dust for months but I finally got out into the garage this weekend for an hour or 2. All I really managed to do was remind myself where I left off a what I need to start progressing.

Can you remind me of the "standard" preload settings of a Hagon shock. Mine is/was in bits for cleaning and now I cannot find the notes that I made.

Cheers,
Steve.

I didn't take the risk and paid a bit extra for JAUCE to pack the item and it was very well packed. I don't know what the original shipper's packing was like but I didn't fancy it being shipped all the way to the UK only for it to turn up damaged for the sake of a few dollars more.

Hi Brian,

Thank you for posting such an informative article! I have just won my first item from Yahoo Japan Auctions via JAUCE.com.

Based on your experience, is it necessary to repack the won item before shipping internationally? Or are the sellers' packaging good enough?

My item is a tail lamp, just a bit concerned if the lens cover might crack during transit.

Good day,
Derek

Hey there, great great great job!
any update on Mildred? I've started yesterday the same rebuilding process as yours, but with none of your skill :(
so I'm really depending on your blog to keep going.
any chance you have some detailed pics + description on how to remove&inspect the carbs?
anyway, let's see what I'll be able to do, for sure it'll be fun.
ciao!

Great write up, well done! Straight forward and to the point. I'm in the middle of a Kawasaki Tengai resto and was wondering about what to do regarding all the bolts etc. Buying new would be rediculously expensive. You've convinced me to give plating a try!

Cheers

Hey all

I have the same problem as Doug Jaworski. I'm looking for a SSH **client**.

And this is not included in the Dropear DroboApp (unfortunatly only the SSH Server will get installed...)

Anyone came across a SSH client for Drobo FS?

Cheers

Apart from the rear calliper brake arm, I only had to open up the swingarm frame mounting point by a couple of mm.

Thanks, all very useful. I have an '86 Yamaha SRX600 and I wasn't sure whether to go the stainless route or the plated route. Not sure whether to go for powder coated engine cases tho as standard they are plain alloy. Food for thought.
